Seeing red
We foolishly decided to travel home from Connecticut the day after Christmas. You'd think so much red would have put us in the Christmas spirit, but spending 5 extra hours in the car doesn't exactly inspire joy. Bah humbug!

I guess that was foolish, my friend's son was equally foolish to leave Saturday (Christmas Eve Morning) to come to Connecticut. Six hours for a 1 1/2 hour ride. Needless to say they were late for dinner.
