My claim to abbreviated Christmas decor is relative -- if you're me, it's less than usual; if you're anyone else, it's probably a reasonable amount.
More on the wreath trio (and the living room)

I'm thinking three live wreaths behind the couch may become an annual tradition.

My mom made this cute Santa pillow a few years ago; clever idea and super simple.

Three giant ornaments adorn the curtain rod in the living room.
The mantle

I can't stand the thought of removing my grandmother's glass dishes from the mantle. So I decorated them with snow, brushed silver fruit and reindeer ornaments, silver jingle bell garland and red satin ribbon.

Okay, if this is a toned down Christmas... I'm scared! Or maybe just jealous with a bit of adoration mixed in :)
