NYC Birthday, part 5

8. Spending the day at the Guggenheim Art museum – taking in architecture and art of Zaha Hadid, lesser-known pieces by Vasily Kadinsky and Jackson Pollack and a fun exhibit of children’s art. Oh, and the spiral-y-building was cool too.9. Staying dry – fortuitously missing a rainstorm that started after we were in the car and on our way home.
10. The Jersey turnpike? NO!!!! We opted for a return trip through Pennsylvania. And enjoyed lovely red tongues courtesy of the great Cherry Icy.
